Parish Religious Education K-8th

Welcome to St. Anne's parish Religious Education Program!  It is our privilege and joy to assist parents and guardians in the faith formation of their children.

The parish Religious Education Program provides religious education for those children in the parish who do not attend a Catholc School.  For your convenience, the program is held on Sunday mornings from 9:15 to 10:15.  This time slot is between the two morning Masses (8:00 and 10:30). Attending Mass is, therefore, available before or after class.  Trained volunteers teach the children. All volunteers have obtained the necessary backround checks and clearances from the Diocese of Harrisburg. Classes are held in the classrooms of the parish school building.

Family Classes will also be apart of our program. Community is an important part of our faith and there is so much that we can learn together and from each other! These classes will have one main topic. Structure of the classes will vary.

Registration for the 2018-2019 Religious Education Program is open... we would love to have you! If you have any questions about registration, please contact Caitlyn Dusablon at

The philosophy of our program states:

  • Catechesis is about the conversion of the whole person to God, Jesus Christ, and His Church.
  • It is living and learning in the midst of a Christian community that shares, nurtures, and strengthens the faith of the individuals who make up the Church.
  • The definitive aim of catechesis is to put people not only in touch but in communion, in intimacy, with Jesus Christ.
  • Only He can lead us to the love of the Father in the Holy Spirit.

There are many ways that we could use your assistance. If you are looking to share your talents with our youth Click here to become a volunteer!
